چکیده
Abstract The organic-rich upper Lower Jurassic Da'anzhai Member (Ziliujing Formation) of the Sichuan Basin, China is first stratigraphically well-constrained lacustrine succession associated with Toarcian Oceanic Anoxic Event (T-OAE; c. 183 Ma). expansion palaeo-Sichuan mega-lake, probably one most extensive freshwater systems to have existed on planet, marked by large-scale organic productivity and carbon burial during T-OAE, possibly owing intensified hydrological cycling nutrient supply. New molecular biomarker petrographical analyses, combined bulk inorganic geochemical palynological data, are presented here, providing insight into aquatic productivity, land-plant biodiversity terrestrial ecosystem evolution in continental interiors T-OAE. We show that algal growth T-OAE accounted for a significant organic-matter flux lakebed mega-lake. Lacustrine water-column stratification facilitated formation dysoxic–anoxic conditions at lake bottom, favouring preservation sequestration black shales Basin. attribute mega-lake enhanced more vigorous monsoonal climate hinterland greenhouse.

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

[1] Profiles of Mo/total organic carbon (TOC) through the Lower Toarcian black shales of the Cleveland Basin, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, and the Posidonia shale of Germany and Switzerland reveal water mass restriction during the interval from late tenuicostatum Zone times to early bifrons Zone times, times which include that of the putative Early Toarcian oceanic anoxic event. The degree of res...
متن کاملPlanktonic Foraminifera of the Dariyan formation and implications of Oceanic Anoxic Event 1a
The investigated section cropping out in Kuh-e-Banesh, Zagros basin (southern Iran) is represented by limestone, Cherty beds and marllevels bearing abundant Planktonic foraminifers, radiolarian microfaunas, and ammonite imprints. For the first time, well to moderatelypreserved forms of Planktonic foraminifera have been extracted from black shale and marls levels. Extracted biota was studied wit...
